I have butterflies everywhere because I am waiting for a re-stock of my favourite frames. The butterflies are flitting around the studio, sitting on window sills and paint pots. They have a life of their own!
They land on newly dyed silk and embellish discarded leaves. Some remain their own habitat, camouflaged and quiet. Other display a more gregarious nature and find themselves on other silks foreign to them.
And it makes me think..... to frame or not to frame, that is the question.
