Work in Situ

Sal, the dog sits happily beside two double glass specimen pieces.
Both deconstructed garments, one has been subtly dyed with ferns whilst it's friend has been embellished with prunus and eucalyptus leaves.

The main body of the work has been treated with eucalyptus dye harvested for the clients garden. A wire "flower' that I found at the scrap metal yard was just crying out to be sewn onto the piece...luckily for me, the client agreed with this notion !

Rhododendron and cinerea leaves create moments of pleasure.

One of my favourite commissions. Understated and honest.
